This is a 70-hour, week-long Orton-Gillingham training which will be held at Camp Spring Creek. This course will enable you to instruct with better understanding of the structure of language and multisensory teaching. The Associate Level training includes an in-depth introduction to phonology, the structure of English, the characteristics of dyslexia, multisensory teaching, assessment tools, grammar and written expression ,and interactive demonstrations and activities that help you to use the approach. The fee, including books and materials, is $2000. Lodging at camp is available for this training at an additional cost. A practicum is available upon request at an additional cost with observations and mentoring.
